Tato prodloužená krytka baterie umožňuje použití baterií typu 18650 s tzv. “ochranou”. Tato baterie s ochranou je chráněna proti úplnému vybití a tím pádem i zničení, ke kterému může ve výjimečných případech dojít. Baterie s ochranou je delší, nežli základní baterie, proto PARD vyvinul tuto delší krytku, která umožňuje použití delší baterie. Krytka pasuje na všechny typy zaměřovačů PARD NV008 i zasádek/monokulárů PARD NV007.
Jedná se o originální krytku od společnosti Sheznhen PARD Technology.
